​Collingwood is growing. Yvonne's plan protects what we love about Collingwood while preparing our community for the future.

 

Yvonne will:

 

STRENGTHEN LOCAL HEALTHCARE

​

  • Champion Collingwood's new hospital and keep the project moving forward

  • Recruit more family doctors, building on the 6 already secured, while expanding local healthcare training and services

 

MANAGE GROWTH WITHOUT LOSING COLLINGWOOD

​

  • Ensure development fits Collingwood and pays for the infrastructure and services it requires

  • Incentivize more affordable and attainable housing

  • Protect our neighbourhoods, natural environment and quality of life as the Town grows

 

INVEST RESPONSIBLY IN OUR FUTURE

​

  • Keep tax increases low and maintain Collingwood's strong financial position

  • Continue investing in road improvements (30+ completed so far) and all essential infrastructure

 

BUILD A COMMUNITY FOR EVERY GENERATION

​

  • Build our multi-use recreation centre and more new parks, adding to the 6 built since 2022

  • Secure land for an arts centre and launch a private

  • Advocate for GO Transit to Collingwood

  • Strengthen our downtown by preserving patios fundraising campaign to build it and increasing parking

  • Fight back against regional traffic cutting through our neighbourhoods
